About Debbie

I’m a learning architect, self-proclaimed geek, and early adopter of learning technologies. A learning architect ensures a clear vision with a clearly defined roadmap, bringing together tools, platforms, and content into a form that is easy to use, scales, and delivers a great user experience.
I’m also passionate about working with and mentoring other talent development professionals, having served as the past president of the ATD Houston chapter and a past national advisor for chapters.
In 2022, I was awarded the “Guildmaster” award. The Learning Guild is a community of practice for those involved in Learning and learning technologies. Their goal is to enable members to share their knowledge, expertise, and ideas with other members—and their success is dependent on members’ willingness to do so. The purpose of the Guild Master Award is to recognize those members who have consistently contributed to the community in terms of both quantity and quality of content—and thus helped make the community a vibrant center for learning.
The first word that comes to my mind when thinking of Debbie is LIFESAVER. She is professional, knowledgeable, flexible, caring, and responsive. Since hiring Debbie to help refresh technical e-learning, I have come to recommend her for a wide variety of other projects. She consistently delivers excellent results and is an invaluable resource to us. Debbie came in as a trusted advisor on our LMS implementation and ended up being the main resource for the project. She kept us all on track with deadlines and made the complicated project aspects much easier. I so appreciate Debbie and highly recommend her to any company looking to leverage technology for their workforce.

Debbie is one of the best business partners I have ever worked with. Debbie is a responsive, professional and thoughtful colleague. Her presentation skills, be it face to face or virtual, allow the learner to truly engage and have an amazing learning experience. I have been a part of her “magic” many times; be it in a small conference room with 9 people or in a large room of 100. She keeps you wanting more of what she has to share. I hope we get to work together again soon.

Debbie and her employees were critical to the success of our Learning Management System (LMS) implementation and also helped teach employees to develop eLearning courses. She aided us in support of global users, helped to troubleshoot and resolve issues and even helped to script out support responses. I highly recommend bringing Debbie, she is a problem solver and can help to bridge any technology gaps you and your employees may encounter. Over her time with us, she provided global helpdesk support, taught our department how to be administrators of the LMS (running reports, enrolling courses, etc.). In addition, she developed several custom courses for us and also trained team members to develop courses.
